May 2011
Many thanks to everyone who attended our seminar event, “Emerging Technologies in Freeze Drying”. Four of the five presentations are now available to download – click here for the first in the series. Unfortunately confidentiality reasons mean we cannot bring Prof Ruth Cameron’s lecture on freeze drying bio-scaffolds to you, for more information on this we suggest you contact her directly at the University of Cambridge. Thanks again to Dr Margit Gieseler, Prof Cameron, Alison Wake ( SP Scientific), Derek Duncan ( Lighthouse Instruments ) and John Hockley ( Adelphi ), and to the staff of Babraham for their help and support.
Due to the success of this event, we would be interested in organizing further similar events in the UK and Ireland in 2011 and 2012 and are considering venues in Dublin and Edinburgh. If this sounds like something that would interest you, please let us know, and please let us know what topics you would be particularly interested to hear about. We would also like to hear from anyone who would like to speak. Contact: sales@biopharma.co.uk.
We also attended BioTrinity, held at the beautiful Newbury Racecourse. Our next outing is scheduled to be BioDundee, 8th-9th June – we hope to see some of you there.
