High pressure homogenisers

The Emulsiflex range of high-pressure homogenisers from Avestin offers reliable and consistent processing for a range of applications including cell disruption, size reduction of particles and liposomes, and emulsification. Both air-powered and electrically-powered systems are available and options include filtration / extrusion, temperature control and automatic pressure control.

• High pressures up to 30,000 psi (2000bar)
• Dynamic homogenisation pressure control
• No o-rings or gaskets in the product path: all face seals precision-machined metal/metal or metal/ceramic
• Easy cleaning: all wetted parts are suitable for treatment by SIP or autoclave and can be disassembled for inspection and validation
• Optional control of inlet / outlet temperature
• Commonly used for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and fine chemicals
• Fully supported: installation, training, servicing and spares provided by BPS in partnership with GC Technology

• Air-driven – pressure to 45,000psi
• Minimum sample volume 3ml
• 34x28cm footprint
